Xiaomi (all Android TV models)

How to stop the screen from turning off automatically.

If the screen turns off or goes black after some time, follow the steps below.

This is a Xiaomi system setting. DS-GO TV Player does not turn off the screen by itself.

Step 1. Open Settings

On the home screen, click the gear icon ⚙️ in the top-right corner.

Step 2. Open “Settings”

The settings menu will open.
Do not change anything yet — just continue.

Step 3. Open “System”

In the list of settings, select System.

Step 4. Open Power & Energy

Inside System, select Power & Energy.

Step 5. Disable screen turn-off

1. Open Turn off display after
2. Select Never

Make sure the checkmark is set to Never.

Done ✅

Now:

• the screen will stay on
• the TV or Xiaomi device will not go to sleep
• DS-GO TV Player will keep running

Important

• This setting only needs to be done once
• After a system update, it may reset — just check it again
• If the screen still turns off, check the TV’s own settings (Eco Mode / Auto Power Off)
