How to update DS-GO TV Player

To get new features, improvements, and bug fixes, keep DS-GO TV Player updated to the latest version.
Choose the option that matches how you first installed the app.

➡️ 1. If you installed it from Google Play

1. On your Android TV or TV box, open the Google Play Store.

2. In the search bar, type “DS-GO TV Player”.

3. Open the app page.

4. Tap “Update”.

5. Wait until the update finishes, then launch the app.

*If there is no “Update” button and you only see “Open”, you already have the latest version.

➡️ 2. If you installed it from Amazon Appstore

1. On your device (for example, Fire TV) open the Amazon Appstore.

2. Search for “DS-GO TV Player”.

3. Open the app page.

4. Tap “Update”.

5. When the update is finished, start the app.

*If you only see “Open” and not “Update”, the app is already up to date.

➡️ 3. If you installed it from a USB drive (APK file)

If you installed the app manually from a USB stick, you also need to update it manually.

1. On your computer, click the download link: DS-GO TV Player

2. Download the latest DS-GO TV Player APK file.

3. Copy the APK file to a USB drive.

4. Plug the USB drive into your TV or Android TV box.

5. On the device, open a file manager app (for example, “Files”).

6. Find the APK file on the USB drive and open it.

7. Confirm the installation/update when prompted.

8. After the installation is complete, open DS-GO TV Player.

*Note: if the device does not allow you to install the APK, check Security or Apps settings and make sure installing apps from unknown sources is allowed for your file manager app.

After the update, DS-GO TV Player will keep showing your existing content automatically — you don’t need to set up the player again or publish content to it again.
